• Minor bug fixes to improve stability and provide flawless operation.

• Added an initialization parameter that sets the default state of the “Keep Module Styles” toggle in the “Save as Module” panel. Modules keep their styles when reused, so you don’t have to turn the toggle on for each one. It works together with keepModuleStylesEnabled.

• Added a configuration flag that hides new forceRecreate entries in Version History, so automatic HTML and CSS updates no longer fill up the version list. Entries created before the flag was enabled stay visible.

• Added pagination (offset and limit) to GET /v4/modules/synchronizable. Editors with large synchronized module libraries now load without fetching the whole library in one request, and existing integrations work without changes.
• Set plugin mode as the default for the url-validator, video-metadata, and video-processing services. On-premise deployments no longer need extra mode-specific properties to start.
• Added the “Containers per Row” control to Structure settings in mobile mode. When “Responsive Structure” is on, you can keep up to 4 Containers side by side on mobile, so product grids and catalogs keep their desktop layout instead of stacking into one long column.
• Added a copy icon to the “Link” control in all blocks, so you can copy the URL in one click instead of selecting it manually.
• Added image thumbnails to the Data Preview list in Smart Elements. Each item with an Image value now shows a small preview, so you can find the right record without opening each image URL.
• Updated the highlight for a widget opened via a direct link. The widget card in the Modules panel now shakes every 2 seconds, and the whole panel button pulses if the panel is closed. Other cards look and drag as usual.

• Fixed Version History letting you add a name and tags to a change that wasn’t saved yet, for example with autosave disabled. These options now become available once the change is saved.
• Fixed the server check notification in the URL checker. It now shows on a yellow warning background with spacing at the top.
• Fixed updateHtmlAndCss sometimes not returning a result when model preparation failed or was delayed. The method now always reports success or an error.
• Fixed the button link field breaking deep links in query parameters. Custom schemes such as purevpn:// inside parameter values now stay intact.
• Fixed the Lock option in the “Cell padding” control for tables in the Text block switching off when you changed one side. Padding now updates on all sides at once.
• Fixed the Dark Mode color field staying empty in block, Container, Structure, and Stripe settings when a Light Mode color was set while the Dark Mode control was on.
• Fixed a console error when turning off the “Alt and Title settings” control in the Social block.
• Fixed HTML comments in the “Code Before Module” and “Code After Module” fields of Display Conditions being escaped after switching the Plugin from editor v2 to v1.
• Fixed button colors set in the editor being overridden by background-color rules from saved module styles. Preview and export now show the same color as the editor.
• Fixed jagged edges on widget previews in the widget library.
• Fixed a Smart Elements expression for removing a currency symbol not working when the Replace field was left empty and Global was off. The rule now saves and returns the correct value without a false “selector not found” message.
• Fixed Plugin v2 ignoring button padding, font-family, and line-height set via the .es-button selector when opening emails created in v1.
• Fixed buttons in emails created in v1 shrinking on mobile after opening in editor v2. A general mobile button rule no longer overrides each button’s own padding and line-height, so buttons keep the size they had in v1.
• Fixed the gap between Containers disappearing on mobile in non-responsive Structures migrated from v1. The mobile gap now matches the desktop one, as in v1, and hidden Containers no longer show duplicate hide icons.
• Fixed the Link field of the Button block in Plugin v2 breaking deep links inside query parameters. Custom schemes such as app:// no longer lose a slash, so links that open apps work again.
• Fixed the Dark Mode text color not applying to list items in the Text block.
• Fixed Stripes pasted into the same email with Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V (⌘C / ⌘V on Mac) getting extra scope classes and duplicate CSS rules. Repeated pastes no longer bloat the email’s CSS, which could break the mobile layout in Gmail on iOS. Modules saved without “Keep module styles” no longer carry scoped styles.

• Fixed video uploads to the Video block

• Added Template Theme creation via the Plugin Back-end API from a name and a settings JSON — no need to open the editor or an existing email.
• Added an endpoint that returns all emails a specific theme is applied to, so you can check the scope before changing or deleting a theme.
• Added bulk theme application — apply one theme to multiple emails in a single request instead of one call per email. The response lists which emails were updated and which failed, with a reason for each.
• Added AMP, Sync filters to module search in the plugin, so you can find modules by their properties.
• Updated Data Preview in Smart Elements. The first element is now selected by default, the Apply button spans the full width, and radio buttons have a new design.
• “Video” blocks now generate a preview image with a play button.
• The “Discount code” field in Gmail annotations now accepts special characters.
• Reduced the CSS generated for Dark Mode element colors, which makes the email code smaller.

 

“Banner” block

• Added a Layering control to the “Banner” block toolbar with “Bring to Front” and “Bring to Back” options for arranging overlapping elements.
• Banners created in the old editor are now converted into a copy in the new format.

• Fixed text blocks duplicating endlessly in Plugin when the browser’s Google Translate was enabled — emails now stay editable.
• Fixed images generated with Artificial Intelligence in the Plugin image gallery not appearing in the “Email” tab after being added to an email, and showing twice after a reload.
• Fixed extra spacing when a comment was copied and pasted into a Text block.
• Fixed smart card data from JSON not being applied during generation for older pre-built modules.
• Fixed images added from Icons or AI not appearing in the “Email” tab of the Image Gallery.
• Fixed the error message showing without styling when a calendar event was saved with an invalid date.
• Fixed missing Ukrainian and Russian translations for five labels in the “Version History” panel.

• Fixed pressing Esc showing a “nothing found” message instead of closing the modules panel when a Text block was selected.

• Fixed bulk email deletion via API for integrations that use the legacy endpoint.

• Added the patchId parameter to initEditor() — the editor now opens an email already restored to a specific saved version, with no separate restoreVersion() call after loading. Integrations with their own Save button can reopen exactly the version the user confirmed.
• Removed the disabled “Restore as new” option marked “Soon” from the Version History menu when the historySaveAsNew callback isn’t provided, so users no longer see an option the integration doesn’t support.
• Added an "Apply" button at the bottom of the Calendar Event Link form, so you don't have to look for the checkmark in the header to confirm a new link or save edits. It works the same way as the checkmark, including validation of required fields.
• Added a notice when editing an existing Calendar Event Link. It reminds you that changes apply everywhere the event is used, including other templates.
• Added column and row resizing in tables by dragging the borders between cells. Column widths now stay fixed when you type or change cell padding, and long text wraps instead of stretching the table.
• Added SVG support for pasting into Image Gallery with Ctrl+V / ⌘+V. Vector graphics copied with "Copy as SVG" from Illustrator, Figma, or Sketch are converted to PNG automatically, so you don't need to export a file first.

• Fixed a “variable ‘count’ was not provided” console error in Plugin when applying a custom conditions library whose texts contain ICU-style syntax.
• Fixed the mentioned user’s name missing from commentText in Comment Notifications webhook payloads for the first reply to a comment — the field now includes the @name and matches taggedUserIds.
• Fixed emojis moving onto a separate line in Gmail when the email contained a module saved with its styles.
• Fixed a console error that appeared when selecting the "Carousel" block, in any interface language.
• Fixed modules keeping their saved styles after "Keep module styles" was turned off. When dropped again, the module now picks up the email's General Settings styles.
• Fixed synced modules staying in sync after the email background color was changed in General Appearance. The module now switches to Sync off and shows a notice about the changes.
• Fixed a "Menu" block copied from a saved module ignoring the email's General Styles font sizes. The font size now updates on desktop and mobile, and the control shows the correct value.
• Fixed synced modules with a "Social" block showing changes right after being saved. The module now saves with Sync on.

• Added "Underline" and "Strikethrough" options to "Text Style" in the "Button" block, so you can style button text the same way as text in the "Text" block. The options are available behind a feature flag.
• Added support for overriding alt and title for icons in the "Social Networks" block through the initialization config. Plugin developers can set values for each network, so users don't have to edit them by hand.
• Updated color controls that support gradients (buttons, stripes, structures, and email background). You can now set the base color to "Transparent" and the gradient is kept. The "Transparent" option is disabled in the gradient color palette.

• Fixed the "Timer" block changing size after edits to settings that don't affect its size, such as the date or time zone.
• Fixed custom fonts declared via @font-face inside a custom HTML block being removed when the email was compiled. These fonts now load correctly, so text no longer falls back to another font and shifts the layout.
• Fixed the bottom settings in the block settings panel disappearing under the grey bar when scrolling. The panel now has bottom spacing and a divider.
• Fixed incorrect handling of CSS comments inside inline style attributes. Neighboring declarations, such as backgrounds, are no longer lost on compilation.
• Fixed long widget names being cut off in the "Widgets" tab. Long names now wrap onto two lines.
• Fixed conditional comments being removed from widget fallback code, such as the "Quiz" widget, after reopening an email.

• Added an optional patchId parameter to the POST /v1/email/copy API method. You can now copy an email from a specific version, and the source email stays unchanged.
• Added a public callback that reports when comment mode is turned on or off. You can use it to keep your own interface in sync with the editor, for example to highlight a comments button in your header.
• Added the imageResizeOnCanvasEnabled initialization option, which turns off image resizing by dragging on the canvas. The Size control in the side panel still works.
• Added drag-to-adjust for counters: hold the cursor on a counter and move the mouse left or right to decrease or increase the value.
• Changed the default alt text for icons in the "Social Networks" block to the full network name instead of the abbreviated one.

• Fixed module IDs not being cleared before onTemplateLoaded. For modules deleted from the library, getClosestModuleId now returns undefined, so custom cleanup in this callback works as expected.
• Fixed the code editor in Custom HTML staying on the selected block's HTML. Clicking an empty area outside the email now shows the full email HTML again.
• Fixed merge tag border and background colors set in the Plugin initialization file not being applied.
• Fixed the missing notice in stripe style settings that says background and content colors are inherited from the general stripe settings.
• Fixed scrolling in the image gallery's "Email" tab when adding images to an email.
• Fixed the list of added images in the "Email" tab extending beyond the window when adding an image for Gmail annotations.
• Fixed a console error when opening the "Styles" tab of the "Button" block.
• Fixed a default icon being inserted instead of the image gallery opening when setting the header icon in the "Accordion" block.
• Fixed the "Timer" block's height and width resetting to 0 after adding a date and dropping a module that contains the block.
• Changes to an existing "Single Image Preview" Gmail annotation are now saved after editing.
• Container sizes in the settings of a structure saved as a module now change even when one column contains two containers.
• In Smart Elements, a variable value that contains a colon is now saved when you reopen the configuration.
• Smart Elements now pull values from a website even when the OG tag contains two colons, such as og:price:amount.
• Fixed the widget panel staying open at the start of a drag and covering the drop area.
• Fixed the settings pop-ups for Gmail annotations and event links completely covering the settings pop-up below them.
• Fixed the previous window showing through while the image gallery loads.
• Fixed the horizontal custom scrollbar blocking clicks on a short block at the bottom of the canvas.
• Fixed the alignment control appearing active for a "Timer" block set to maximum size.

• Added Play-in-email mode to the "Video" block — upload an MP4 and Stripo generates a poster frame and an animated GIF fallback automatically, so the video plays natively where it's supported and falls back to the GIF everywhere else.

Editing

• Added merge tag autocomplete in the "Text" block — start typing on the canvas and pick the tag from the list instead of entering it by hand.
• Added a warning in the "Button" block when icons with different aspect ratios or heights are added — it appears above the Normal and Hover tabs.
• The minimum height of the "Spacer" block in "Space" mode is now 1 px, and the interaction area is wider at minimum values.
• The "Border" control (width, color, style) is now dynamic and can be set separately for desktop and mobile.
• Updated the hint text in the toast shown after copying an element; the info style and the Paste button stay the same.
• Replaced the hint icon with a warning icon on the "Make Entire Element Clickable" control.

 

Еxtensions

• Added the option for Plugin extensions to connect their own merge tags or special links window to the merge tag icon in the Title and Link URL fields. The icon now opens that window instead of the built-in Stripo dialog, and when a custom window is connected, the icon also appears in the Link URL field.

• Fixed copying a module name in the "Modules" tab of a custom block's settings, which pasted the whole block's content instead of just the name.
• Fixed the onImageSelected method not being called for images in the "Text", "Social", "Menu", "Banner", "Timer", and "Carousel" blocks.
• Fixed an error when adding certain YouTube links to the "Video" block.
• Fixed the restoreVersion method in the Version History API, which didn't restore a version until "Version History" had been opened in the current session.
• Fixed a change notification appearing on a synchronized module with a "Menu" block immediately after the module was saved.
• Fixed a horizontal scrollbar in widget settings when configuring a widget with Artificial Intelligence.
• Fixed text blocks that could not be edited in an email.
• Fixed the styles of a copied "Button" block changing when the styles of the original button were edited.
• Fixed the warning icon and its message disappearing next to the "Rollover Effect" control in the "Image" block after the control was switched on or off.
• Fixed a leftover https tail when a link with its own protocol was pasted into the "Link" field over the default https://.
• Fixed scrolling in the image gallery when selecting an image for "Email annotations for Gmail".
• Fixed the image gallery display when it holds only a few images — the gallery now has a minimum height.
• Fixed the previous custom image staying in the "Video" block after it was replaced.
• Fixed the code editor not opening after link checking had been opened and closed.
• Fixed extra Display Conditions code and a broken container in a synchronized module, and the option to set a condition again while the Display Conditions button was disabled.
• Fixed an error when loading certain YouTube links into the "Video" block.
• Fixed Alt text being duplicated when another "Video" block was selected.
• Fixed missing Ukrainian and Russian translations in Smart Elements data source settings.
• Fixed the missing gap between structure containers in the AMP version on mobile when buttons were stretched to full width.
• Fixed email compilation failing when a module contained a non-responsive structure, which stopped the email from being saved.

• Updated the image gallery to open on the relevant tab based on where it's opened from, so there's no need to switch tabs manually.
   

Plugin configuration & API

• Added Plugin config options to disable the gradient control entirely or only for specific elements: buttons, text, containers, structures, stripes, email background, spacer, and social block.
• Added a Plugin config option to disable container resizing on the canvas.
• Added Plugin config flags to show or hide Data Feed and the External Source URL field in Smart Elements.
• Updated the Version History API so the restoreVersion method can be called without opening the "Version History" panel first.

 

Smart Elements

• Added support for external data sources — you can now connect Google Sheets, RSS, and JSON feeds to Smart Elements.
• Added an HTML Support checkbox for "Text" type variables in Smart Elements.
• Disabled the "Save Configuration" button until a CSS selector is chosen for the smart container parameter, so incomplete configurations can no longer be saved.

Blocks

• Added the "Line Height" control for text in the "Banner" block.
• Added the "Radius" control for a custom image in the "Video" block.
• Added an icon for inserting the "Spacer" block into an empty container.

Links

• Added a new link type, "Calendar Event Link", for generating calendar invitation links.

• Added an aiGenerated flag to AI-generated images — the flag is sent when the image is saved to the documents storage, including an integrator's own storage, and is returned in onImageSelected params and in documents API responses. Integrators can use it to label AI-generated images in their own interface.
• Added the copyPasteEnabled option to the Plugin initialization config — integrators can turn off copying and pasting elements, along with the related notification and the "Copy to Clipboard" tooltip. Copying selected text inside text blocks is not affected, and the default behavior stays unchanged.
• Removed unsafe-eval from editor localization — host applications with a strict Content Security Policy can now run the editor without allowing 'unsafe-eval', and parameterized and plural translations still render correctly.
• Added a text direction control to Banner text settings — text in Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, and Hebrew now renders right to left with letters correctly joined instead of isolated.

• Fixed the "Restore default styles" control not resetting a text block to its default styles.
• Fixed the email not always scrolling to the corresponding block when selecting an event in the change history in Firefox.
• The editor no longer freezes when you move elements inside an email on touch devices.
• Full-width buttons set to "Adjust to width" now render at their actual width in Outlook — previously the VML width was taken from the column, so buttons overflowed their containers, spacing between columns disappeared, and the layout shifted right.
• Typing a hex value directly into the border color field now applies the color to containers, stripes, and structures — previously it flickered and reverted, so only pasting or the palette worked.
• Images in formats the editor converts to PNG, such as WebP, can now be added by external link to Video and Banner blocks with the external link preserved.
• The image gallery now opens directly on the "Project" tab when that tab contains images — the "Photostock" tab no longer appears first.
• Gmail annotations of the "Preview" type with a single image now save correctly — previously the card was not saved and no error was shown.
• Reopening an annotation that already contains an image now shows the image instead of the empty drop zone.
• The comment creation popover now closes when you switch from the "Comments" tab to another tab.
• Email content no longer jumps horizontally in co-editing when another user's cursor moves outside the visible area.
• The lock icon in the lock state control is now 20×20 instead of 16×16, making locked elements easier to spot.

• The AMP Accordion block now has a "Title Radius" control for rounding the corners of the accordion title.
• Change History now stores tags and event names, so a version can be found by what it was called instead of by timestamp alone.
• Added search in Change History — find the version you need without scrolling through the full list.
• Images can now be dragged from the image gallery straight into an email.
• When adding the image shown after a Timer block expires, the image gallery opens with the "Landscape" filter already applied.
• Generated text in the email "Title" and "Preheader" fields is now highlighted, so the result is visible immediately.
• Selecting cells with different padding values now shows a mixed state in the padding control instead of a single value.
• In the code editor, "&" is now converted only when it starts a valid character reference, so ampersands in plain text stay as typed.
• The "Decode special characters" control in the code editor now handles "&shy" .
• Added the elementLockEnabled init parameter to the Plugin — integrators can now enable Element Lock for their users, with the feature off by default. The parameter only controls visibility of the lock control: elements already locked in an email stay locked and protected.
• Added the imageResizeEnabled block flag to the extensions SDK — set it to false to hide the on-canvas resize handle for images inside a custom extension block, so image size stays controlled by the block's own settings panel. Images outside the block and Size controls in the side panel are not affected.
• Added ModificationDescription.asHidden() to the extensions API — background modifications applied by an extension no longer create a Version History entry or take up a separate undo step. The change stays part of the document and is preserved when reverting to an earlier version.

• Fixed the "Drop Here" prompt appearing below a structure without accounting for outer margins when adding a structure.
• Fixed changes to the Banner block not being shown when selecting the corresponding event in Change History.
• Fixed the border value not being removed from a structure's code after setting the border to zero in structure settings.
• Fixed line breaks with non-breaking spaces being added to the Text block when editing it through the code editor.
• Fixed font size changes not applying to some Text blocks in emails created in the old editor.

• Replaced the Iconfinder icon gallery with Iconify.
• Added an "Apply gradient" setting to the Button, Spacer, and Social Networks blocks.
• Added a close icon to the Version History panel.
• Improved copying email elements between emails.
• Added public Accessibility Checker events to the editor callback — Plugin integrators can now track when a user opens the checker, applies a fix, un-ignores an issue, or restarts the check, not just check completion, ignored issues, and AI autofills.
• Added support for UE-RICH-TEXT attributes in control template markup — extension developers can set placeholder, has-merge-tag-icon, max-length, and single-line directly in getTemplate(), the same way as for UE-TEXT, without setUIEAttribute calls in onRender(). UEAttr.RICH_TEXT is now available in the @stripoinc/ui-editor-extensions package.

• Scripts pasted into the HTML block now keep their formatting in the code editor after the email is saved.

• A new Widgets tab in the Modules panel lets you add interactive elements to your emails — games, NPS forms, quizzes, and more. Drop a widget into your email like any block, then configure it through the AI panel in plain language.
• A banner image can have different sizes on desktop and mobile devices: the "Size on mobile" control is available in the editor's mobile view, so a wide image can be scaled down for phones without altering the main layout.
• Empty links have been moved from the "Links" category to "Unidentified", and mailto: and tel: values are checked for correct format rather than passing the check automatically.
• Access to image actions within CONTENT now depends on the user's role: with CONTENT:textOnly a user can replace an image from the gallery and edit it in Pixie, and with CONTENT:WRITE they can also delete an image and change its URL. The same rules apply everywhere an already-added image is managed, including base blocks and background images.
• The comment window no longer covers the text you are commenting on — drag it by the drag handle to any spot in the email. The position is kept while the window is open; reopening the comment brings it back next to its pin.
• Adding an image manually through the "Image Path" field now shows straight away whether it can be edited. For formats other than PNG and JPG, the image editor button is disabled, and a tooltip on hover explains why — both in the "Image" block and in a Smart Element.
• To pick the right link from the list of previously used URLs, you no longer have to guess it from a truncated string: hovering over a shortened item shows a tooltip with the full URL.
• A warning now appears in the button settings if the hover icon differs in height from the default one. A height difference makes the email layout shift when a reader hovers over the button — the warning lets you even out the size before the email reaches the recipient.
• Added extension support for the ContainerBorderRadiusController component — the containerBorderRadiusForm control can now be extended the same way as containerBorderForm, without the "not extendable" error.
• Added support for passing customParams and thumbnailUrl through openImageLibraryTab (ExternalImageLibraryTab) to onImageSelected. When a newly selected image doesn't include these values, they are now cleared instead of carrying over from the previously selected image.

•  The placeholder image appears again in the "Button", "Carousel", "Timer", "Video" and "Banner" blocks when a merge tag is used in the "Image Path" field, so the block stays visible while you work on the email.
• The "Bullets Default Color" control doesn’t appear in the styles of a "Text" block without a list.
• Stepping up a level from the extra image tab in the "Banner" block now opens the right tab: container, structure, and stripe show their own settings instead of that image's.
• Switching between "Image" blocks with the "Rollover Effect" control enabled no longer hides the rollover image in the block settings, so you can check or replace it without turning the control off and back on.
• Holding ⌘ (Mac) or Alt (Windows) while editing an email no longer changes the cursor or opens a comment window on click — that combination works only in commenting mode.
• Pasting a new URL over a selected button link (Ctrl+V or ⌘+V) now updates the VML link as well, so the button in Outlook goes to the new address instead of the old one.
• Fixed the defaultImgForMergeTagSrc parameter not applying to hidden merge tags — the fallback image now displays for them as well.
• Fixed block content and settings disappearing from the email when scrolling with the Modules tab open.
• Fixed text in the Banner block not being editable.
