• The tagging popup no longer opens on “@” when the Plugin is initialized with onUsersInfoSearchRequest: false, so @mentions can be turned off completely in comments.
• Buttons added to an extension block through the BLOCK_BUTTON alias in setInnerHtml now render with the full button markup and in the position they were placed in the passed HTML.
• After multiRowStructureModifier().updateLayout(), the root id and esd-extension-block-id attributes stay on the extension wrapper and are no longer copied to the generated inner structure, so custom rendering that relies on the root id keeps working.
• Smart Elements now fill correctly with an image added by URL when the Plugin’s custom external image gallery tab is the active one — the upload runs through a writable gallery section instead of failing with a gallery configuration error.
• Custom buttons inside extension blocks now export with VML dimensions matching the button itself rather than the stretched table cell, so they display at their real size in Outlook.
• Container extension blocks dropped one after another into the same structure now keep the same width — each block is measured against the destination structure instead of against the block above it.

• Added getUserPermissions() and onUserPermissionsUpdated() methods to access the user's live permissions and react to their changes; a custom block can now be shown in a disabled state instead of being hidden.

• Fixed the 403 error text for module creation API methods — the message now specifies that the API role is required, instead of ADMIN.
• Fixed the "Banner" block keeping the previous or empty image after a new one was uploaded — the newly uploaded image is now saved.

• Expanded the list of languages supported by Artificial Intelligence features — you can now create and translate content in more than 100 languages.
• You can now set the "Horizontal Position" and "Vertical Position" of background images separately for desktop and mobile in the stripe, structure, and container settings. This gives you full control over how backgrounds are positioned on mobile devices, independently of their desktop display.
• The "Reply" button now always appears in the comment popover, regardless of the comment's length.

• Plugin developers on the Enterprise plan can run Stripo as a module editor (entityType = module), creating and editing not only emails but also modules stored in their own infrastructure.

• A new Backend API method lets you delete several modules in a single request (soft-delete), with each module checked against the plugin making the request, so no one can delete another plugin's modules.

• Developers can now read the currently active General Panel tab through the new getActiveGeneralPanelTab method, without having to track tab switches themselves.

• A new onElementMove callback fires when blocks and modules are moved between containers, structures, or modules, so developers can update content (for example, link-tracking IDs) at the moment of the move.

• Custom image storage can now return a customParams field that reaches the onImageSelected callback, so developers can add custom data-* attributes to images without an extra API request.

• Plugin users with read-only access can open and review the display conditions added to a structure to ensure they're set up correctly.

• Comments stay in place after an email reloads when the plugin uses forceRecreate — pins are no longer wrongly flagged as left on a deleted element.
