Where to find the AI image generation model

The AI image generator can be found within the Artificial Intelligence section of Stripo’s project settings. There are two powerful AI-driven options available for users:

• AI alt text generation: Generates descriptive alternative text for images;
• AI image generation models: Enables users to create AI images directly within the email editor.

These features are available only in the new editor and need to be activated in the project’s settings.

How to use Stripo’s new AI image generation feature

Creating images using our AI generation option is simple and intuitive:

1. Navigate to the Image Gallery: When working on an email, open the image selection panel.
2. Choose AI Image: Select the option to create a new image.
3. Select a model and orientation: Different models support different aspect ratios, so choose the one that fits your design needs.
4. Enter a prompt: Describe what you want in the image. The more detailed the description, the more accurate the AI-generated result will be. Keep in mind that prompts have a 256-character limit. 
5. Generate: Click “Generate” and wait for AI to create your image. If you are satisfied, insert it into your email; if not, you can refine your prompt and regenerate the image.

Stripo provides a variety of image sources in addition to AI-generated images:

• email project: Images from your existing projects;
• seasonal images: A collection of holiday-themed images;
• decoration images: Stickers, frames, and other decorative elements;
• photostock: High-quality images sourced from Pixabay and Pexels;
• icon finder: A database of icons for varying design needs;
• GIFs: Animated images to enhance engagement from GIPHY.

Additionally, the available AI models for image generation will be displayed based on the models that were activated in the settings.

Stripo’s AI image generation feature is compatible with multiple email design blocks, making it a versatile tool to enhance various elements of your email:

• image block — Generate and insert custom images effortlessly;
• banner block — Create visually compelling banners with AI-generated backgrounds;
• social block — Customize icons with AI-generated designs;
• video block — Generate thumbnails or visual elements that are related to video content;
• AMP carousel — Populate interactive carousels with AI-created visuals.

Additionally, AI-generated images can be directly edited in the Stripo editor using the standard tools, ensuring full customization without leaving the platform.

Available AI models and their capabilities

Stripo offers multiple AI models to generate images. Each has its own unique features:

1. Gemini: Generate up to four images per prompt, providing multiple options.
2. Stability: Generate a single image per request.
3. DALL-E: Generate a single image per request.

Please note that image size and aspect ratio depend on the model selected, and prompts are processed exactly as they are written.

Also, the number of picture generations depends on the AI itself. Since Stability and DALL·E generate only one image at a time by default, the generation process follows this standard.
