You might have noticed that we’re now actively working on the new editor and that it is about to be released any time soon.
Yet, customer data protection and the performance of our product, no matter the version — current or new — are our core priorities. And this is what we're constantly working on and has kept us busy last month.
Data protection
In one of our annual reports, we said — and we meant it — that keeping your data assets secure matters a lot to us.
So what have we done in this direction so far?
Obtained the “ISO/IEC 27001:2013” certification
What does it mean?
The international ISO/IEC 27001:2013 security standard lays out best practices for how organizations should manage their data. Achieving this certification shows that Stripo is serious about cybersecurity and has implemented appropriate practices in all business operations and processes to mitigate cyber risks.
This January, we successfully completed all audits and got our certificate.
Completed CASA Assessment by Google
Cloud Application Security Assessment (CASA) is an established and industry-recognized application securitization standard for protecting consumer data and privacy.
We successfully passed this assessment in January 2023.
Will undertake the Security assessment by Bishop Fox
Bishop Fox executes an in-depth review of the product’s functionality implemented within the application — this includes but is not limited to a detailed evaluation of security issues across authentication and authorization mechanisms, detection of weaknesses introduced through vulnerable components (integrations), and overlooked misconfigurations.
We will undertake this test in the summer to assess the new editor and user account.
What can I say? Your data is totally safe with us.
Yet, I’d like to add that we constantly run automatic and manual checks of our product to detect any possible vulnerability. If you ever find one, please let us know.
Performance of the editor
As I said, we care about the performance of the editor and plugin and do a lot to maintain 99.99% uptime…
When only starting our product in 2017, we hoped yet did not expect to have such a large number of users. Currently, about 815,000 people worldwide use the Stripo editor. This means a high load on our servers.
To avoid downtimes and possible issues with the editor and plugin performance, we are:
- upgrading server OS;
- increasing the size of the instance type.
So basically, we are scaling our infrastructure.
We have done all the preparation work so far, but in order to complete this scaling process, we have to reboot our system and our servers. This is why we have scheduled maintenance works for:
- March 4, 2023, 6.00-8.00 UTC;
- March 11, 2023, 6.00-8.00 UTC.
During that period, your Stripo account and your ability to create/modify email templates and save changes will not be available.
This will not affect Stripo Plugin.
