About Nementio company

Using Stripo allowed Nementio to speed up the email-building process and continue to use familiar ESP for sending emails. Alfredo Reche, owner and CEO of Nementio marketing agency, shared with us two client project cases where Stripo helped to reduce email creation time and achieve reasonable response rates significantly. 

About Nementio company

Nementio is a Spanish marketing agency based in Valladolid. The company focuses on providing services to businesses primarily in the technology, software, and B2B services industries. 

In recent years, Nementio has specialized in helping international SaaS companies enter or improve their results in the Spanish-speaking market. The results have been so good that, in some cases, they have even taken on the development of campaigns in Spanish but also the international marketing strategy of these companies.

The team that works on client projects includes a strategy consultant, a business manager, a marketing consultant, a graphic designer, and two copywriters. 

Why is email marketing important?

Email marketing is an essential part of the company's services, both for conducting campaigns and promoting content aimed at improving brand loyalty and image, as well as maintaining relationships with customers and potential customers throughout their buying process. 

Part of the agency's work is to design these campaigns, send them out, and analyze the results as part of the continuous improvement process of marketing activities for each client.

How the agency builds its work on email campaigns

The workflow on clients' email campaigns includes some parts: 

  1. The copywriting team creates the email content for communications and promotions, while the marketing consultants design more transactional content.
  2. The graphic designer creates templates and style guides; content creators work with them while building emails. 
  3. When the email is ready and agreed upon with the customer, it is sent using the ESP.

However, each client is different, and the agency tries to optimize resources as much as possible.

Challenge 1: How to build a specific email template design without HTML coding 

The agency's new international client, Rambox, which develops software to organize the digital workspace, asked for a particular email template they had previously designed.

We work with several clients using ESP Mautic, an open-source marketing automation tool that, while quite powerful for many of our needs, fell short regarding email design. Its editor could be better and more flexible, forcing us to work with existing templates or code our template, which was challenging to maintain when introducing new sections or elements. Additionally, its options could be more varied.

That's why it wasn't effortless to implement Rambox complex email design newsletters in Mautic.

So, the agency started looking for a solution that would allow them to design powerful emails while still using Mautic as an automation tool. 

Solution

After exploring some options, they came across Stripo. 

The agency team had never used a tool specifically designed to edit emails. They had always worked with complete tools like Mailchimp that included their editor. 

What convinced them to try Stripo:

  • integration with Mautic;
  • ease of use; 
  • ability to conduct various tests;
  • versatility to create exactly the emails they wanted;
  • the price was completely affordable.

“When we tried Stripo out, we found it to be very easy to use and just as professional, if not better, than other tools we had used in the past, such as Mailchimp, with the added advantage of allowing direct export of designs to Mautic, which saved us a lot of time and provided a much higher quality service to our clients. We export the designs from Stripo to Mautic, and although we initially encountered some problems with the import, the fantastic Stripo support team quickly resolved them for us”.

Challenge 2: How to create emails in 6 languages easily and quickly

For another regular agency client, VoIPstudio, an international provider of cloud VoIP services, they have primarily used also Mautic with these design limitations to create emails. 

VoIPstudio is a global VoIP services provider that serves users worldwide. They started their business in the UK and expanded gradually worldwide. Now they do numbers in more than 70 countries. Thus the need to give support in the main languages and also to create a brand strategy to produce great content for all their customers and leads.

One of the tasks with this client that took a lot of time was creating 6 language versions for each email. After trying Stripo to make Rambox emails, we decided to use this handy editor for VoIPstudio.

Solution

English is the most used language among their users and the company's work language, so we usually start with English.

They have teams (sales and support) that speak all the target languages, so they usually translate or adapt the messages manually for different languages. The agency team created an email template in the Stripo editor and changed copies in blocks. Then they export each translated email to Mautic and assign it to the desired segment in Mautic based on the detected language for leads and the declared language for current customers.

Stripo has greatly helped us reduce the time spent on creating newsletters.

Important note from the Stripo team

In the Stripo editor, you can use a built-in translator. Creating or copying emails for each language version and pasting the text into containers wastes time. 

Therefore, we have created a built-in translator that allows you to translate emails into all languages at once in just a few clicks, get ready-made translations of newsletters, and immediately export them to the ESP.

How to translate email in one click

For translation, you can use any of the following methods:

  • independently translate emails using Google Translate;
  • connect proofreaders — and give them access to edit emails (without access to your other projects);
  • select the Provider Translation option — upload your content and let your translators work with the text. Then just download this file.

Case results 

Stripo helps the agency team cut a lot of time on email production for these clients and get good results for campaigns:

  1. In the case of VoIPstudio, where they have to create newsletters for up to 6 different languages, using Stripo has allowed us to save more than 50% of the time dedicated solely to this task.
  2. And for VoIPstudio, they've noticed an increase in click-through rates from 5% to 7.5% with the first email campaign, which is a good sign.
  3. While they don't have comparative data for Rambox, the results of campaigns have been positive, particularly with the use of the countdown timer.

Plans and new challenges

The Nementio marketing agency has mainly worked with newsletters and campaigns. Still, in the near future, they also plan to incorporate Stripo designs into transactional emails and other communications. They are also planning to use Stripo to create agency emails.
