It is useful and helpful to know what your customers like and dislike about your business. And asking for a survey or a feedback is the best and the easiest way to do it.

If you want to find out whether the customers are satisfied with the service you provided or products they bought from you, suggest that they answer a very brief survey. As the fewer steps your clients need to take and the fewer answers they need to give, the more chances they will respond to your email, and will share their opinion with you.

Consequently, the best idea is to insert the survey-questionnaire into your Survey and Feedback email templates.

Surveys

There are at least two ways to do it:

Way 1. Inserting links

I am not speaking about the links to SurveyMonkey or Google Forms. I am speaking about one-question surveys you can easily create in any Survey and Feedback email template without any external tool. All you have to do is simply place as many images as you need under a question and add a unique link to each separate image.

Your ESP will provide a report regarding which of the links was clicked.

Way 2. Embedding questionnaires

By using this method, you may ask your customers as many questions as you please. Just make sure you notify them regarding the approximate time this may take.

Stripo enables you to embed questionnaires into Survey and Feedback HTML email templates. Prior to sending out an email newsletter, you will have to create a survey with Google Forms or SurveyMonkey.

In order to embed your survey, drag-and-drop HTML block into your template, then open an email code by clicking HTML block, and finally insert the code. This is it. Done!

Note: the first way is a web-safe one; as currently some email clients are not able to transfer such interactive elements as embedded surveys.

Feedbacks

Sometimes we need to get a complex answer from our customers to find out the reasons why and maybe to listen to their suggestions regarding our service. Then the best solution here would be asking them to leave a feedback. Previously, you will have to create a landing page where your respondents will be taken to.

Then make a persuading CTA, apply the link to it.
